My Paperbag Fall Mini Album

It's been awhile and I have been meaning to post this the day I put my video on you tube and just haven't had the time.  Since I started crafting about a year ago I have only made mini's for friends and family. This is my first mini I have created for myself. I know its spring time but I had a lot of fun making it.

For the cover I wrapped canvas around and painted it using 5 colours from FolkArt: Raw Sienna, Tangerine, Engine Red, Yellow Orchre and School Bus Yellow. But before I painted the canvas I used Golden Gesso. The flower I found on clearance at Michaels. I layered underneath some walmart ribbons and jewels from the collection.

The paper collection I used is BoBunny's Forever Fall.  Love this paper!!!For the first page I created a pocket and cut a leaf out from the cricut catridge Wild Card. The sunflower is from my local dollar
store.  For the closer I just glued down some ribbon and covered it with buttons from the collection.

Here I used a sticker from the collection and on the flap I created a pocket. I punched it using a Martha Stewart border punch and fussy cut the dragon fly from the collection and added glossy accents to it.

I created this envelope using the wild card cricut cartridge. And the dragonfly is from the collection.

For the tags I used three stamp sets from Stampin' up: Gently Falling, Lovley as a Tree and Notes & Details.

For the front of the tags I used paper from the collection.

I think my next project will be a couple of 12 x 12 layouts and a couple of birthday cards.

Thanks for looking:)

Z-Fold Envelope Mini

I have finally finished my mom's mini that I have been attempting to finish since christmas. I was inspired by Laura from Following the paper trail.  This album is generations of my mom's family.

For the cover I upholstered it with white fabric. I used ribbon from stampin' up and created my first ribbon flower. I backed it with tulle and added pearls.  The title is on stampin' up's label die. And I used a recollection flower.

It's called a Z-fold mini because you use two enveloples. I used a 3 3/8"* 6" coin envelope and attached it to a 5 7/8" * 9 envelope to make the page look like a Z. You then cut the bottom of the bigger envelope add a brad in the middle to create two small pockets. I made six pages and on each page I was able to put between 6 to 7 pictures.

The paper line I used is from K and Company the Classic K McKenna. All the flowers I used are Recollections. On this page I added a Tim Holtz clock and stampin' up lace trim.

Here I used stampin' up's corner photo punch and added pearls. Then on the back of each of the coin envelopes I added a pocket with a tag.  I then used a Tim Holtz flimstrip ribbon and charm that says Time.

This is probably my favourite page, this is my parents wedding picture. The lace and butterfly are from walmart. I also used Prima bling and Prima key/heart charms.

Here is my wedding picture with my husband Scott and our boys Bradley and Matthew and my parents.  I used Tim Holtz rose trim and glimmer misted three recollections flowers.

The stamps I used for all the tags:
                                                Butterflies Cling by Inkadinkado
                                                Prima stamp set item#551087
Life in Pictures by Ali Edwards
                                                Bale & Ivy by Kaisercraft
                                                English Rose by Kaisercraft

Wee Susie Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for a friend.  It has been awhile since I have used my copics, I really had fun colouring her.

The paper I used for this card is an old pack from stampin' up Lap of Luxury.  I used the new labels die from stampin' up. The flower is Recollections and the sentiment is from Great Friend which is also stampin' up.  The pink ribbon is from walmart.

 The copics I used were: Skin-E00, E000, R20. Hair-E25,E33 and E35. Dress-V12, V15 and V17. Leafs-G21 and G24. Flowers-RV10 and RV11. And the pot and bow-YR01 and YR02.

For the inside of the card I just used more patterned paper. The sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes from stampin' up.

Have a great day.

Baby Boy Card

Sorry its taken a week to post anything. This past week Matthew learned how to climb out of his crib and refused to have a nap. Lol!!! So its been a challenge to finish anything.

I created this card for one of my husbands employees who had a baby boy yesterday. Its been awhile since I have used my cricut but I think it came out pretty cute.

For the front of the card I used patteren paper from my stash, the cardstock is from stampin' up: certain celery, bashful blue and night of navy.  I used the New Arrival cricut cartridge to create the truck and the word baby.  I then added buttons for the wheels and a yellow flat back pearl for the light. The word baby and the truck are both on dimensionals.

For the inside of the card I was able to use my new labels four small spellbinders die. This is my second spellbinders die, I'm slowly get them lol.  The sentiment is from the swirls & curls verses by stampin' up.  The little truck is called baby boy from Inkadinkado.

I'm hoping to finish a couple of mini albums this week and I will post them here and on my youtube channel.
